TNO database webservice : predict functions

predict

This functions returns ephemeris for given objects and dates.

For list of conditions available see the "Available tables" page for the table you want.

The parameters returned are :

atTime : date of the ephemeris

objName : object concerned by ephemeris

icrsRA : right ascension

icrsDec : declination

icrsErrA : large axis of the approximation ellipse (in ")

icrsErrB : short axis of the approximation ellipse (in ")

icrsErrPA : orientation of the approximation ellipse (in °)

SOAP

predict(cookie, conds, dates, observatory); predictFormat(format, cookie, conds, dates, observatory);

Parameters:

format: output format
cookie: the cookie obtained by getNewCookie or empty string for public data
conds: conditions required to select an objet
dates: dates to compute in JD (limited to 100 dates)
observatory: observatory code

Returns a list hashmap containing computed ephemeris. For predictFormat the output is a text formated in selected format.

Parameter in URL:

obscod: observatory code where you want to observe (see list bellow, defaults : 500 geocenter)

Parameters in GET arguments:

format: output format (default: json)
cookie: a cookie or empty string for public data (default: public objects only)
conds: conditions required to select a entry formatted in JSON and URL encoded (default: get all available data)
date: dates to compute in JD (limited to 100 dates). The list must be formatted in JSON and URL encoded (default: current day)

HTTP return code should be "200" and formatted data is returned in response body.
